“This course will seek to question the ongoing discourse concerning the productive landscapes of Jæren. As we are entering the era of the anthropocene with accelerating climate changes, loss of habitat and dramatically shifting landscapes, it is imperative to understand and critically assess the ongoing planning policies concerning land use, food production, infrastructure projects and residential areas. With a thorough research phase as a background this master course will formulate architectural projects that deals with a wide range of complexities concerning legislation, local initiatives, economical concerns, ecological restraints and overarching climate goals. ”
